Luxury Retirement Livery
Looking for somewhere to retire your beloved 4 legged friend to when they are no longer in work? Due to high demand we have decided to offer a couple of our stables out as luxury retirement livery. Unlike some places where horses are turned out 24 / 7 for the rest of their days, this will be a personal service for your oap.
They will be turned out in individual paddocks, or small groups in both summer and winter, and stabled at night. On really bad days through the winter they can stay in with haylage, rugs changed when needed, pampered when needed and given plenty of food, love and care. After years of service, your horse deserves the very best till the end of his / her days.
Paddocks are fenced with post and rail, post and wire (not barbed) and also electric fencing. These are poo picked regularly ensuring the grass they eat is as good as can be. For horses and ponies prone to laminitis, there is a well grazed paddock available with fresh hay.
Our gates and premises are securely locked at night, and we have cctv installed for added security and peace of mind. This is connected to my phone, and checked every evening.
We will be offering this service for horses up to 16.2hh. The cost will be slightly different for horses and ponies
