Just a quick update on the ponies I am working with and which are available for sale
Savanna *holiday livery*
Savanna is having a couple of weeks intensive schooling whilst her mum is away on holiday
Dolly *schooling livery*
Dolly is here for a second year to brush up on some schooling and jumping in preparation for her big show at the weekend!
Roddie *breaking livery*
Roddie came last year to do some ground work and be backed. He was then turned away over winter ready to be broken this summer. He is now in his 6th week and happily schooling in walk, trot and canter, and hacking out alone and in company. He is a super cob with the right attitude to work.
Alfie *breaking livery*
Alfie arrived at the same time as Roddie, and they have progressed at the same pace. Alfie is now fully broken and ready for home at the weekend. I will miss this lovable pony.
Cleo *breaking / sales livery*
Cleo is working well in trot and almost ready to progress to canter. She is an amazing pony with a very bright future ahead of her. She will be available for sale in the next few weeks, deposit secures.
Bob *schooling livery**
Bob arrived this week to brush up on his schooling. He has previously driven and needs a lot of suppling up work to improve his way of going. His owner is keen on dressage so my aim is to transform him from a driving cob into a dressage star!
Guinness *schooling / sales livery*
Guinness is a typical cob in which he does as little as he has to! He can work really well when he puts his mind to it and is a safe all round type for all the family. I am open to viewings whilst he is here for schooling, and I’m sue won’t be around for long.
Chloe *for sale*
Chloe is my beautiful mare available for sale. She is a fully registered Welsh D standing at approx 15hh. She is lightly backed and walking round with a rider on. Only for sale part broken as I am struggling to find the time she needs, as I am busy with clients ponies.
Arriving shortly are 2 stunning Welsh D mares from the Sharmic Welsh Cob Stud in Lincolnshire. Both are related to Sharmic Bronwynn who I had the pleasure of owning and breaking in last summer. Sharmic Chloe is bay with 4 whites and 4yrs old. Sharmic Cleopatra is black with a stunning head and kind eye, also 4yrs old. They are both well handled but unbroken and will be available for sale as blank canvas’ or can be broken.
We have a beautiful selection of ponies in at present, from sales liveries, to holiday makers!
Tia Maria & Joe Joe
Tia was purchased a few years back from myself to a good friend. She comes back each year for a little schooling refresher whilst her owner is away on holiday. She comes with her little brother Joe Joe who is very cute and adored by everyone on the yard. Both are a total pleasure and always settle straight away.
Shadow is here on sales livery and still looking for a perfect match. He is a fun forward going pony who loves to jump and enjoys hacking out. Full details available on the ‘sales’ page.
Murphy is here on sales livery. I was inundated with interest from the moment I put pictures on and a brief description! All I can say is everybody needs a Murphy on their yard, he always wears his halo. He will be going to his new home shortly.
Ellie is here on breaking livery. She is a beautiful Welsh D mare with a temperament to die for. She is coming along great in such a short time and a pleasure to work with.
Dior, my own little mare is coming along great. She is now backed and ready to further her education. We are looking for a 5* home for this super pony. Full details on the ‘sales’ page
Lewi will be 8 this year, so its time to get him out to some bigger shows and get him seen I think. We are also hoping to do some show jumping competitions, so will be putting in plenty of practise at home.
Our Welsh D Ionos Captain Jack will be out under saddle this season. He has already proved himself in hand with his previous owner including a respectable 8th at the Royal Welsh Show! His rider Nicola has worked really hard schooling him on, so hoping his first season is a good one
We have several schooling / holiday slots left for August and September. Also sales liveries are becoming more popular this year and we are offering this service until the end of October for anyone interested. A £50 deposit secures your booking.
As always we specialize in ponies up to 15hh, and do not take on known ‘problem ponies’ ie bronkers, rears and bolters.
Our reputation and results speak for themselves. Most of our clients are through word of mouth and many come back each year. We video and photograph everything we do and welcome clients to visit as often as they wish.
Please visit the ‘schooling / breaking’ page for full details on the service we provide, or alternatively contact us directly on 07917131526 and we will be happy to discuss your needs.
Lovely day at North Yorkshire Showcase with Brookend Secret Gem (Dior) and Ionos Captain Jack (Smokey). We came away with 2 first places, a second, a third and a fifth. Dior has also qualified for Equifest 2016 in the in hand riding pony. Good day all round, and to top it off the sun was shinning!
We are currently working with some super ponies, all are black which is unusual, and all equally beautiful in their own way.
This stunning Welsh D gelding is here on sales livery. I owned him 3yrs ago and it is an absolute pleasure to have him back on the yard. Full details on the ‘sales’ page.
This flashy PBA mare has been purchased by myself as a little project to sell on. She is top class potential, moves for fun and has a temperament to die for. Full details on the ‘sales’ page.
He is a super smart cob gelding here on schooling livery. He is doing very well and a pleasure to work with always giving 100%
Arthur was a rescue pony and has come for backing. He is quite nervous so every step is slow and quiet with plenty of praise, to build up his trust. He is very rewarding and I am really enjoying watching him blossom.
