We are on with phase 2 of the big build!!! The 4 bigger stables are going up in the next few weeks along with the solarium.

We will be saving a few of these stables and using them for luxury retirement livery. They will comfortably take horses up to 16hh.

Once the inside is complete, work will start on the outside to make it just as luxurious!!!! This will include a concrete road round to the back of the building, where more parking space will be available. A wash bay will be erected and the existing car park at the front will be smartened up.

We want the ‘WOW’ factor as clients arrive!!!!

Welcome to Lower Owlcotes Farm!!!

Ponies are all moved and settled at the new yard! It was great to be in before Christmas and have a roof over our heads, but have only just got round to updating the website. There is still work to do like the arena surface, car park finishing off, and the paddocks to divide, but we are in and that’s the main thing.  There are 4 larger stables being built in spring, to allow us to accommodate larger horses on full livery if needed.  We also have an area set aside for a solarium and wash down bay, as well as a seating area at the back of the building over looking the arena.

We will be taking on a couple of full liveries alongside our training liveries, and these are on a first come first served basis.  This is a 5* livery service 7 days a week. Horses & ponies will be bedded on shavings, and fed haylage, along with feeds twice a day.

Our facilities include:

*Indoor stables in a newly built barn. Very light and airy set over 2 floors. This allows plenty of storage space upstairs for your personal belongings

*20m x 40m menage

*full set of coloured show jump

*Turnout in small paddocks, which are poo picked daily

*Post and rail fencing and electric fencing, making it a safer environment for all horses and ponies

*5 / 10 minute ride from fantastic bridleways

*On site help with training and breaking (additional cost)

*Mobile clipping onsite (additional cost)

*Quiet private location, yet close to main bus routes and Pudsey train station

Not long now until we move to our brand new training premises! Due to the huge amount of interest for 2020, we are already taking bookings for the rest of next year. We are almost full next spring, so please get in contact if you were hoping for an early booking, and we will do our very best.

We will also be taking on just a handful of full liveries, this is on a first come first served basis. This package is 7 days a week livery, giving you more time to enjoy your horse and pony, with the knowledge they are receiving 5* care even on weekends. We are a friendly bunch of people who have a passion for horses and enjoy the sport together. There will usually be someone to hack out with on a weekend if you prefer company!

New Premises!!

Due to my business expanding and not having enough space, I am very excited to announce, I will be moving to larger premises at the beginning of 2020! This brand new purpose built yard will allow for me to take on a select few full liveries along side my breaking and schooling liveries. I will also have the space to accommodate more sales liveries and possibly a few youngsters of my own to produce.

I will be offering a 5* full livery service 7 days a week, taking on horses of any height. If you are interested in being part of our friendly team, please get in touch. It will be on a first come first served basis, and spaces will be limited.

April 2019 Update!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts on here recently, the majority of my updates I have been putting on my facebook page. Feel free to add me to follow my work and progress with various ponies.

So we have a few ponies in training that will be available for sale shortly.

Feliod Dream catcher – sold

This stunning Welsh x Arab mare is 4 yrs old and standing approx 14.3hh. She will be available for sale after backing, to a 5* home. An absolute sweetheart in every way, I’m sure we will have no problem selling her!

Holmeside Lucky Diamond

Diamond is a non native coloured mare standing approx 13.3 / 14hh, 10 years old. She is a late starter in life, and has had some time out of work after breaking. She has low mileage and is green in her work. She will be available for sale once she is back in full work, and has been assessed in the arena in all 3 paces. She will also be hacked out in built up areas and open spaces. She is a flashy looking mare, and would make a quality PC pony

Queenie

Queenie is a 14.1hh weight carrying cob. At 10 years old she has seen quite a bit, and is unfazed by it all! She has mainly been used for hacking, will go first or last, and is 100% in traffic. She has not done much in the school, and will try and nap to the gate with less confident riders. However this is easily corrected and then she is a gem! She will be available shortly after further schooling.

Coby – schooling livery

Coby has been with me for 3 weeks, and is ready for home at the weekend. He came a very lazy pokey nosed cob! He is now working from behind much better, enabling him to carry himself in a much rounder outline.

Elsa – breaking livery

Elsa is into her 3rd week of breaking, and is now trotting under saddle off the lunge. She has been a total pleasure up to now, lets hope this continues!

New Arrivals!!

We have 2 new arrivals in for sale. Both totally different, yet both equally beautiful!

Tiani

This lovely coloured mare is believed to be Welsh x Trotter. She stands approx 13.3hh and is 6yrs old. She has previously been a broodmare, so will be a nice project for someone wanting to bring a pony on from scratch. I will be working with her over the next few weeks, and hopefully find her a fantastic home. Her owner is looking for £950 for her.

Dumbledoor

Fully registered Connemara gelding, standing at 14.2hh and 8 years old. He ticks all the boxes! Great personality, good conformation and lovely paces too. Rides well and is showing huge scope over a fence. The ultimate package for any competitive teenager!! He will be available for sale after been fully assessed this week. His owner is looking for £3500 for him

**August 2018 Update**

We are now fully booked for breaking liveries for the rest of the year. We do however have a couple of spaces available for sales liveries throughout the winter months. We specialise in ponies up to 15hh maximum, due to the size of our stables and limited turnout areas.

Here are a few of the ponies we are currently working with and an exciting new arrival due in November!!!

Maisie arrived this week for breaking. She is a dales x cob type mare and progressing nicely in her first week

Brandy came a few months back for 2 weeks schooling. He was a total dream to have on the yard, and due to a change in his owners circumstances he has returned on sales livery. I have no doubt this special pony is destined for the top!! One not to be missed. Please see the sales page for full details.

Phoebe is a striking Welsh D mare, here for 2 weeks schooling whilst her mum is on holiday.
